The mainstream adoption of new social and collaboration tools, coupled with budget decreases and the need for timely knowledge sharing, is putting a bright spotlight on informal learning. Bersin & Associates' research into high-impact learning organizations shows that learning leaders are focusing time and resources on developing innovative and cost efficient informal learning approaches that can be used on their own or blended with existing formal programs. In this webinar, Mallon will cover how the role of the corporate training department is evolving to meet today's learning challenges; Bersin & Associates' new framework for enterprise learning; the benefits of the formalization of informal learning; examples of how to blend on-demand, social, and embedded learning into formal training programs; informal learning and the LMS; and best-practice examples.
